That's A Wrap: Late model car gets a new wrap

Our late model No. 98 car will be racing for the championship this year. We were excited to work with Thirty Two Signs once again on the design. They came out to the Outlaw Inc. headquarters and wrapped the car this past week. (Check out the different views in the pics below.)

Wrapping a race car is a meticulous process. In case you aren't aware of the steps involved, we figured we'd share with you. Here's what the team from Thirty Two Signs had to do to make this car look super hot:

  1. Prepare the surface: Must be a specific temperature range between 60-80 degrees F.

  2. Tape up to view where the pieces of the wrap will be affixed.

  3. Placement: Be sure the graphics are straight. Use a tape measure to guarantee accuracy.

  4. Secure the center of your wrap and work your way out, removing backing as you go.

  5. Use a squeegee and overlap to avoid bubbles or wrinkles.

  6. Trim edges as needed.

Special thanks to JDL Environmental, Bekiesz Garage Doors, Covino Enterprises/Rich Covino, and Alpine Stars for continued sponsorship for 2021. We're looking forward to the season ahead and competing for the championship!
